How 1 small step leads to a changed life
Choosing to see the positive in every situation is a learned HABIT. It is a habit I learned to develop even at a young age but developed even deeper through the Master Key Experience training by Mark Januszewski that brought me a changed life.
Through his unique and mind-challenging techniques which his personality puts into practice daily, along with his wonderful wife, the Fabulous Davene Januszewski, their very talented staff, and the abundant and well-trained guides and Master Guides, trained, challenged, asked mind-opening questions that challenge me to look inward deeper and deeper each day.
Through this teaching, I learned about “Dharma”, which is defined in a dictionary as (in Indian religion) the eternal and inherent nature of reality, regarded in Hinduism as a cosmic law underlying right behavior and social order.
From Wikipedia, Dharma, according to Van Buitenen, is that which all existing beings must accept and respect to sustain harmony and order in the world. I have to be honest, I don’t know about sustaining harmony and order in the world, but it helped me change an already positive mindset to a brand new level.
How I was before…
As an orphan, I learned to find my joy in the little things in life. Every year at Christmas time, I always get one of my cousins’ Christmas dresses from the year before as my Christmas dress… I told my friends who were pitying me because of the hand-me-down dress, that I am lucky to get a Christmas dress at all. Proof positive of having a changed life.
Then in college, when my classmates would ask why I never seemed to have any new clothing, my reply was almost always, I don’t need new clothing to learn in college and it could even be a distraction for young women like us. Still another example of a changed life.
I have a plethora of stories like the ones I mentioned above to prove my changed life.
How the Master Key Experience enhanced my positive mindset and gives me changed life…
I stumbled upon this teaching. I did not know how I even happen to it, whether it is through a Facebook post or a tweet or a YouTube video like this one I found it interesting how to remain and think positively in all situations… It’s a great teaching moment and it gave me a changed life.
But I digress, Mark and Davene and the Training Solutions Staff and guides helped sharpen my already positive attitude. One of the exercises we learn that you can read about on one of my earlier blogs is about positive thinking. You would also notice, the difference these 6 months of hands-on teachings and mentoring have made in me by comparing these two blogs. Another clear proof of my changed life.
Each small step I make in increasing my positive thinking gets me to a higher level of positivity. Every little step and positive outlook, leading to my changed life through the Master Key Experience. It is the small degrees of change in my daily habits that lead to my changed life and these tiny steps are what my friends and mastermind alliance crave and want to learn more of. Check out this blog by a good friend Nicole Sikora, a prime example of one small step taken that changed a life.
This past few weeks and continuing today, this MKE teaching and the small steps that at first I thought might not be making much of a difference showed themselves and I finally truly saw how MKE transformed me for the better and to see it in action as if I’m watching a movie unfolding is so beautiful.
It was Christmas 2020 when I decided to gift my husband a special trip in 2021, a special trip to Kauai, HI.
Situation #1, canceled reservation, 2 days before our scheduled arrival in Kauai. Accepted and yes, proof of a changed life.
As always, I called to confirm my reservation and request a late check-in because I am arriving late at night that first day, before my planned arrival in Kauai. I was surprised to find out that my reservation was canceled the day before. Yet, no anger and found way to make it happen, which is another proof of a changed life.
I was surprised and I asked the nice young man talking to me on the phone to please transfer me to his supervisor because I am about to get on a plane the next day and I would want to make sure that I have a hotel room to stay in when I leave the airport.
Long story short, got a manager on the line after a few excuse me for taking so long, and got my reservation reinstated.
Situation #2, 10-day quarantine explained incorrectly and the decision to take that penalty, proof of a changed life
On our flight from Seattle to Kauai, we belatedly found out a requirement we were not aware of. We signed up and filled out the form online, late because I missed that on my research about Covid 19 and travel to HI and forgot to ask any specific questions about Kauai restrictions.
We arrived at Lihue airport and were ushered towards a person who was checking in those who had the QR Code from the travel.hawaii.gov website but was not able to get a blue Kauai bracelet (means you’re all set).
We were advised about what our options are at that point which is a) turn around and go back home, b) quarantine for 10 days then we can resume our vacation.
They have also told us that as long as we stay in the hotel we are staying at, we can roam the hotel grounds and facilities as long as we social distance and wear our masks at all times, or…
c) book a room at a bubble hotel, quarantine for 3 days, get tested and get a negative Covid 19 test from an approved facility and then continue with our vacation.
Based on the information that we have at that point, we decided to declare the 10-day Covid 19 quarantining protocol. What we did not plan on is that we were given the wrong information from the place that provided our 72-hour Covid 19 testing, to the lady doing our entrance into the island questionnaire. Still, all of them, beautiful examples of a changed life.
As of this writing, my husband and I are in paradise. I see the Ocean from my balcony and I feel the warm salt air on my skin. I see people on the beach enjoying all kinds of water fun and sports. I am so grateful for this experience and this restriction to see, smell and be on this island and the proof that I am and do have an improved and changed life.
It is amazing because the next time I am back on this beautiful island of Kauai, I can appreciate the freedom of a changed life that would give me.
In conclusion, the Master Key Experience is so instrumental in my growth and changed life in always finding the positive in every situation and finding the good in everything, because of what I am currently going through and what has been happening in the last 2 to 3 weeks of my life.
It’s a situation that could have driven me off the cliff but because of this teaching, it is easy to find the good because I’m no longer into instant gratification and again find contentment in having a changed life.
I now truly understand that what is coming is better than my perceived misfortune of the moment and again find proof of an improved and changed life. I can look at this that this is just a situation that is happening now but I know this too shall pass. And as my good friend and someone I look up to, Shirley Koritnik says so beautifully I had to paraphrase it!!!
I invite you to check out the Master Key Experience to see how it might help you as well. I am thrilled that through it I have found ways on how to find the good in every situation and to enjoy an improved and changed life!!!
I encourage you to go to the upper right-hand corner and sign up to start the same way I started–with the Mindshift you will experience a 7-DAY MENTAL DIET.
